Wins Three Dolphins!
Luke
Vassella won three awards at the 2001 Dolphin Awards. Luke took out the
Country category with 'The Bright Side of Love' from the Luke and the
Lost Boys album - 'Between the Devil and the Deep Blue', Rock/Grunge:
'Love Come Quickly', also from 'Between the Devil and the Deep Blue',
and Gospel/Devotional: 'New Again' from 'Laments and Praises'. The Dolphins
honour North Coast musicians and have awards in 26 cateogories. Below

Singer/songwriter
Luke Vassella scored a hat-trick at Tuesday night's Dolphin Awards, winning
the devotional, rock and country sections to become the most successful
musician of the year.
The
11th annual Dolphin Awards, organised by the North Coast Entertainment
Industry Association, honour the best musicians and songwriters in the
region.
Dolphins bring
out the talent

This
year's North COast Entertainment Industry Association (NCEIA) Dolphin
Awards were a huge success, with local artists proving you don't have
to live in the city to foster an incredible amount of talent.
Luke
Vassella was a big winner on the night taking home three awards, in the
Country, Rock: Grunge and Gospel/Devotional categories.
